Instead they worship the spirits that dwell in all things, believing in a will, or spirit, that lives in all objects. However, there are those who instead, believe in the God of Creation, "Gozoss Gragios", or the God of Destruction "Sava Volkruss". In the case of Gragios, he/she has never been seen, and how he/she looks is unknown. For Volkruss however, his existance is certain. A bit further about spirits: According to Wendy, the belief of spirits is also the source of their power and also the the sustenance of their existance. Relations between La Gias & Upper Earth: It is said that places such as the Bermuda Triangle where alot of missing people cases are reported, are paths that lead to La Gias. The cultures of Upper Earth has also influenced La Gias in many different ways as well. It was Langran's alchemists' theory that "only a devil god can fight against another devil god". Thus Langran's Masouki Project was started. Due to the high amount of resources required, and not much of it actually can be had (Orihalconium, Furcanelli Perpetual Engines & others), only a small number of Masouki were produced, totaling 16 (the Nols was actually the first to be created, but due to its insufficient power output it was removed from the list of the Original 16). Masouki Classes Of the original 16, the four Masoukishin are A Class, while the rest are B Class. Masoukishin (A Class Masouki) are not only contracted with a high-rank spirit, but those spirits themselves dwell within the machines, giving them sentient will, unlike the B Class Masouki which only draw power from such spirits. Later on however, due to the war with Shutedonias, Langran was in need of more weapons, and used the Diablo as base for Masouki mass production, resulting in the Blowel, a C Class Masouki. Even the Rujanoll, a construction machine, was modified into a D Class Masouki, the Rujanoll Kai, and used against Shutedonias. The state known as Possession can be performed in any masouki with any high-ranked spirit (basically any A-ranked masouki). The process is actually a fusion of the pilot and the masouki itself and thus it's more like the pilot possessing the robot, than vice versa, since in actuality the masouki is always "possessed" anyway as it is the dwelling place of the spirit. Also, Possession is extremely taxing on its pilot's prana, and I would suggest that it has a HUGE SP drain to be kept active for considerably greater bonuses.
